This year was the third-annual Sink-Hamilton Apple Picking Extravaganza. We ventured up to Oak Glen together thanks in big part to Kim H's parent's Buick (who knew they seat six?). We took the back way up via Beaumont because we weren't the only one's with this bright idea the weekend before Halloween.
Upon arrival we found ourselves at Riley's Los Rios Rancho Farm for a picnic. After all, we needed nourishment for our upcoming harvest. Afterwards, someone had the bright idea to walk across the street to our favorite picking spot. This ended up being a bit of scare - a narrow dirt path along a highway with the sun in our eyes and two infants strapped to the Kims.By this point in the season, most apples have either been picked, or are rotten. Karl obtained a basket/pole to reach the sweet sisters up high.
After our hard work, we went to Parrish Pioneer Ranch for some caramel apples, apple floats, apple cider, and jelly bellies. Sophia begged us to go play on the pumpkins, so we finally gave in. Fabulous fall fun for the whole family!
